Always great here went around lunch time. Prices are high like everywhere else but good service so it's worth it!
you can't ask for better Chinese food. easily the best in town. for those that have issue with seating etc. remember we are here for the food and everyone is so friendly. and we live close so we do take out often.
I stopped in with my family to have a quick dinner while we were out. I'm not sure what it is about rainy weather that makes me want to make dumplings, order pho or search for ramen places near me. This particular instance my daughter said she wanted ramen, so we went to Ijji 2 since we were in South Reno. It was only our second visit here, but we were pleasantly surprised to see their dining room wasn't busy. We loved having the place to ourselves. We enjoyed our quieter dinner here. The restaurant was clean and homey. We loved having all of our favorite Asian cuisine under one roof and a kid's menu for my little guy. Food was tasty and service was great! We all ordered ramen and a few handrolls for the table. We were able to catch up and converse without having an over bearing server. Kudos to our server who was sweet, but was able to read the social cues. Their prices have gone up since our initial visit, but inflation has hit everything. We had a great dinner there and look forward to returning.
It's a great spot for group celebrations, with friendly servers who put on a show when making the hibachis. I tried Ijji's Deluxe, which included lobster, shrimp, and filet mignon. The steak wasn't cooked as requested, likely due to our large group. Otherwise, everything was fantastic. For dessert, I enjoyed the fried banana with ice cream, which wasn't too sweet--just how I liked it!
Save yourself some money and go for the all you can eat because you are going to want more sushi! Beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients! There are more options of sushi than there are cheesecake options at the Cheesecake Factory. I ordered a Mai tai just for fun and ther didn't skimp on the liquor either. Service is fast, friendly, and attentive. I can at lunch on a Sunday and there was no wait. Good news is that it is located in a shopping center so you can walk off your meal after!
Came here for lunch all-you-can-eat sushi. It was great and the service was pretty phenomenal! We came in at 11am and got the personal attention of 4 waiters. Food came very fast and drinks were filled before they reached the half empty mark. We got to chose both lunch and dinner rolls (and there was a ton of options). Our favorite was the dragon roll.
Ijji 2, a Teppanyaki style restaurant, was the venue for a wonderful evening with friends. Our Chef for the evening was young but full of energy, humor and an abundance of skill. This is the type of dinner place to enjoy with friends or family. We had a party of 10, which was perfect. Once the Chef got started, it was a non-stop spectacle of knife skills, artful use of flame and sheer entertainment. A night to remember for sure. Our dinner started promptly with a nice Miso soup, followed by a refreshing salad, served with a ginger/sesame dressing. The dressing was not my favorite but tasted fine none the less. We were entertained with the preparation of the fried rice and grilled vegetables. For our group, the vegetables were served before the proteins (which was fine) were as we saw other tables serve the protein prior to the veggies. Next were the proteins. Our group had a diverse selection of chicken, salmon, calamari and steak. I had the Filet Mignon. The Chef asked how the steaks were to be prepared. Being honest, while my Filet was absolutely delicious, it was cooked a bit more than the Medium Rare that was requested. An incredible dinner show, Chef was on his game this evening. The result was a spectacular serving of appetizers, starches, veggies and proteins. What a wonderful way to spend an evening with friends or family. Well done Ijji, well done.
Alright, so I swung by Ijji 2 and grabbed the dynamite roll. Let me tell ya, it was a flavor explosion! For $23, I was expecting a dainty little thing, but nope, this roll was legit. Worth every penny. The place was hopping! It was like a sushi-fueled party with the energy of a rock concert. Despite the chaos, the staff somehow managed to keep their cool and were super attentive. Definitely a place to check out if you're up for a fun, loud, and delicious time.
My grandson's birthday celebration! We've been here many times before but always a fun time! Birthday boy got a son and treat!we all enjoyed a variety of chicken beef and seafood. Fried rice is always the best!
